Ever since I was born again, the church has truly felt like my spiritual home. It is where I’ve grown up alongside lifelong friends, wrestled through life’s big questions, prayed over my future and first felt the deep love of Jesus. I warmly remember gathering with our youth group to pray for our neighbors, our leaders and anyone in need of a helping hand. Simply put, the church is where I met God, and it’s where my heart found its footing.
Right from the start, I discovered that giving isn’t just a duty – it’s a joyful expression of worship. Over the years, I’ve cherished offering God my “firsts”: the quiet first moments of each day, the start of my week, and the first fruits of my income through tithing. It’s been my simple way of saying, “Lord, you are at the center of my life and finances.” And without fail, God has lovingly provided for my every need right on time.
Whether contributing to special building projects, practical needs around the church, or mission efforts near and far, I give because my heart is full of gratitude for everything God has given me. I deeply love our church family – the body of Christ – and it is my heartfelt prayer that each of us experiences the incredible, warm joy that comes from giving back to God’s miiion together.
